Hello readers! Jun here with your weekly translation of second summon. I’ve decided to put a copy of the chapter in a separate page for those who use iPad’s offline reader mode and such. You can find it on the link right at the end of this bit of comment of mine. Can’t believe I didn’t think of this earlier. Next is I’ve decided to pick up a new novel that I think should be doable within my spare time, which is:
When I was going out of my house to stop my 10 years of being a hiki-NEET, I was transported to another world.

I think I should be able to handle this one, but not sure about a schedule yet. Going to translate a chapter or two to see how much I can manage without overworking myself. I had a few more titles in mind but I’ve decided on this one. May get a chapter out in a week.

I mean, I see a lot of his abilities are related to blood. What do you say, should I change this one? Both are written exactly the same in japanese.

STOS Chapter 51

Hello readers! Jun here with your weekly translation of second summon. I’ve also taken some time to upload the colored illustrations of volume 1, volume 2 and volume 3. The illustrations are all on the first few pages of the novel, so you’re free to see it before the coming chapters. I’ll eventually think of putting the rest of the pictures there, but later. There’s no comment section there, so you’re going to have to comment about it here. The pictures are translated, but I’m not going to edit them. The scans aren’t that high quality either since I only have a regular 3 in 1 printer. Not the cheapest ones, but still.

Also, I notice Roa’s last name in the light novel is Leonail like in volume 1’s webnovel(probably edited) while in volume 2 webnovel, Roa’s last name is the same as her father Regulus, which is Gold. Which should I take though?

STOS Chapter 50

Hello readers! Here’s Jun again with your weekly translation. This one is also the last chapter of this volume, so we finally start with the next volume next week. It’ll be a while until Setsu arrives since many things are going on at the same time.

Fun stuff: The author commented how it felt like the first two volumes are like the beginning. Which is kind of true since she blazed through each continent to get all important characters introduced before the big storm which is the next volumes. I can assure you the next volume is going to be interesting. Or at least I think so from the chapters I’ve translated so far.

On a side note, there’s a picture that comes with this chapter, but I’m going to post it later once the bots have copied the whole thing. They can try taking all, but not the pics.

STOS Chapter 49

Hello readers! Jun here with your weekly chapter of Second summon. Guess what I got? The whole five volumes of Second summon! Now I have more pictures to show you all. It doesn’t mean I’ll be keeping it up indefinitely, if the author or publisher wants them removed then I will. Until then I’ll put it up whenever applicable along with links to the book on amazon.co.jp. Buy them like I did to support the author! It costs a total of 50 euro’s for me(with over half of it being delivery cost and import taxes, sigh). Here’s the link if you already can’t wait for it. It also has some extra story in each book, though I’m not sure if I’m going to translate them.

The scans won’t be in very good quality though, don’t want to spend more time and money getting better quality scanner or *gasp* cut the book just for scanning the images. They’re…good enough.

I’ll put up my first image in this chapter, the rest will follow eventually.

Also I’ve decided to keep honorifics on names when japanese people are speaking towards each other. I only change it to something more fitting when non-japanese speaks or are addressed for obvious reasons.

Hello readers! Jun here with your weekly chapter of Second summon. I’m somewhat late-ish, but still early enough. DId you know I prefer 3rd person narration? It’s because I have more options on the writing style that way. 1st person needs you to keep in mind the narrator’s personality, which limits how many fancy words I can use etc.

 

By the way, I changed Grein’s name to Glain and Eruka to Elka. Names makes more sense this way I think.
